These Terms are an agreement between you and Omni Transformation Systems LLC about using PawBao, a short-video app for pets, animals and nature.
Who can use PawBao
You must be 18 or older to create an account. By signing in you confirm your age and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
PawBao is in a pilot. Features may change, break or be removed, and the service may be paused at any time.
What you can post
Videos must be about pets, animals, nature or fun facts about them. Every video needs an animal or nature in frame.
Not allowed: animal cruelty or neglect, dangerous stunts with animals, violence, hate, harassment, sexual content, news or politics, spam, and anything illegal.
Only post videos you filmed yourself or have the right to share. You confirm this each time you upload.
Your content
You keep ownership of your videos. You give Omni Transformation Systems LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, show, distribute and promote them in and around PawBao while they are on the service.
You can delete a video at any time. Copies may remain in backups for a limited period.
Moderation
Videos go live when you post them. We may check them (automatically and by people) at any time, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms, with or without notice.
Use the Report button to flag a video, comment or account. A video reported by several people is hidden until our team reviews it.
Comments must be kind. We remove insults, harassment, spam and off-topic arguments.
The Community Guidelines (pawbao.app/guidelines) and Child Safety Standards (pawbao.app/child-safety) are part of these Terms.
LIVE streams
Creators with at least 500 followers can stream LIVE from the browser; PawBao may also let other accounts go LIVE. Everything in a LIVE (video, sound and chat) must follow these Terms and the Community Guidelines, and an animal must be part of it. Never put an animal at risk for a stream.
Streams are not recorded by PawBao. Viewers may still capture what they see, so don’t show anything private. Anyone signed in can chat; we may end a stream, remove chat messages or suspend accounts that break the rules.
Viewers may send gifts or donate coins during a LIVE. These work like gifts on videos (see “Coins and gifts” and “Creator earnings”): they are voluntary and final, and the host earns their share.
A host may pin one of their products, or a brand they collaborate with through PawBao, to the stream. A pinned brand is labeled “Paid partnership”, and the host must also say it out loud or in the title, as the FTC Endorsement Guides require.
Shops
Creators may list products in a shop on their profile and pin a product to a video. The seller, not PawBao, sells the product and is responsible for its description, price, safety, packing, shipping and following the law. PawBao may hide any listing.
Items bought in PawBao: the buyer pays PawBao through Stripe. The seller ships to the buyer’s address within 3 days and adds a tracking number. PawBao pays the seller through Stripe Connect when the buyer confirms delivery, or 14 days after shipping. Without a store, PawBao keeps 10% of the item price and a seller can list up to 3 items at a time. With a PawBao Store ($19.99 a month, renews monthly until cancelled), there is no fee on sales. If the seller cancels or can’t ship, the buyer gets a full refund; later problems go to support@pawbao.app, and PawBao may refund a buyer or hold a payment while it looks into them.
Sellers must describe each item truthfully, including its condition (new, like new or used), and keep the number in stock up to date. Each paid order takes one item from stock; at zero the item shows as sold out.
Items sold in PawBao are delivered by shipping only and paid only through PawBao. Local pick-up, meeting in person, cash, and payment outside PawBao (Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, PayPal and the like) are not allowed for these items: they leave the buyer without the refund protection above. PawBao may hide a listing or close a shop that asks for them.
Shipping is calculated for the buyer’s address (USPS or UPS, priced through Shippo), shown before payment and paid by the buyer together with the item. PawBao buys the shipping label for the service the buyer paid for, using that shipping payment; the seller packs the item, attaches the label (or shows the USPS QR code) and drops the parcel off. The seller is paid the item price minus PawBao’s fee.
Followers who have the kind of pet a product is for may get a short notification when the seller lists it.
Items with a link to another store are bought there; that store handles payment and delivery, and PawBao only counts clicks.
Sellers may not list animals, medicines that need a prescription, weapons, or anything illegal, unsafe or misleading.
PawBao has only its own shop: products are listed, bought and paid in PawBao. Links that send people to buy in other stores (including affiliate links) are not allowed in listings, videos, LIVEs or profiles, and PawBao may remove them.
PawBao does not sell the linked products and is not responsible for them.
Coins and gifts
Coins are a virtual item you can buy (and sometimes get for free, for example as a welcome gift or for opening PawBao several days in a row) and use only inside PawBao to send gifts on videos or support a pet. Coins are a limited license, not money: they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or sold, and do not earn interest.
Purchases are processed by Stripe on the web (and by Apple or Google in the mobile apps, under their terms). Prices are shown before you pay. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or if a charge was made in error. If a coin purchase is refunded or disputed with your bank, the coins from it are removed from your balance (coins already spent can’t be returned); if PawBao wins the dispute, they come back.
Free coins can expire if a streak is missed, as described in the app. We may change coin prices, packages and gifts. If we close PawBao, we will give notice and you may lose unused coins to the extent the law allows.
Sending a gift is voluntary and final. Gifts are not payment for any product or service, and never entitle you to anything from the creator.
Creator earnings and payouts
When someone sends you a gift or supports your pet with bought coins, you earn a share of its value (currently 50%; the rest covers payment fees, app store fees and PawBao). Gifts made with free coins count toward the monthly Creator Fund, a fixed amount PawBao shares among eligible creators. Rates and the fund amount may change.
To withdraw, you set up a payout account with Stripe Connect, which verifies your identity and pays you; Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement applies. The minimum withdrawal is $10. You are responsible for your own taxes; Stripe may issue tax forms.
We may hold or cancel earnings that come from fraud, fake accounts, self-gifting, chargebacks, or breaking these Terms, and close the accounts involved.
Pet services (walking, sitting, grooming and more)
PawBao lets independent providers list pet services and lets pet owners book them. Providers are not employees or agents of PawBao; PawBao is a marketplace that connects them and handles payment.
Paid bookings: the owner pays the listed price in PawBao when booking, through Stripe. PawBao holds the payment and, once the provider marks the booking as done, sends the provider the price minus PawBao’s service fee (currently 20%) through Stripe Connect. Providers need a Stripe payout account to take paid bookings.
Refunds: if the provider declines or can’t make it, the owner gets a full refund. The owner can cancel for a full refund before the provider accepts, or up to 24 hours before the start time. Later cancellations, no-shows and problems with a booking are handled by PawBao support (support@pawbao.app), and PawBao may refund or hold a payment while it looks into a problem.
Services without a listed price are requests: the owner and provider agree on the price and payment directly.
Day Care: the owner books one or more days at once, with drop-off and pick-up times inside the provider’s hours, and may bring more than one pet (up to the provider’s limit; each extra pet costs the extra-pet price the provider sets). The whole booking is paid upfront; the cancellation rules above count from the first day, and the provider is paid after marking the booking as done on or after the last day. Owners must pick up on time and tell the provider about any health or behavior issue. During care the provider can send the owner private photo, video and text updates; only the owner and the provider see them.
Walk & Create: when booking, an owner may let the provider film their pet, publish the videos on PawBao, tag the pet’s profile, and share gifts. The owner can withdraw this at any time in Bookings; the pet is then untagged from that provider’s videos, and the owner can untag their pet from any video. Gifts to the pet on such videos are shared: currently 60% of the value to the owner, 20% to the video’s creator, and the rest to PawBao (rates may change). The animal’s safety always comes first: providers must never film in a way that takes their attention off the pet, near traffic or in other risky moments.
Providers appear in Pet services as soon as they publish their profile; to take paid bookings they set up payouts with Stripe, which checks their identity (name, date of birth, address and bank account). The “ID verified” badge means Stripe completed that check. PawBao may review, hide or remove any provider. Identity verification is not a background check and is not a guarantee of anyone’s skill, safety or behavior. Meet first, share your pet’s needs honestly, and use good judgment. Providers must follow the law, have any licenses and insurance their work requires, and treat every animal with care.
Reviews must be honest and based on a real, completed booking. To the extent the law allows, PawBao is not responsible for injury, loss or damage arising from a service arranged through PawBao.
PawBao Maps and business listings
Businesses that welcome pets or serve pet owners can list themselves on PawBao Maps, and users can add places they know. Every listing must say honestly what makes the place pet-friendly; Listings go live right away, are checked automatically by PawBao’s rules, come off the map when several people report them, and PawBao may remove a listing or the Verified Pet-Friendly badge at any time.
Plans (Basic $9.99, Business Pro $29.99, Featured $59.99 a month) renew monthly until cancelled and show more of the business’s information; Featured places are marked “Sponsored”. A plan never changes a place’s rating or its reviews, and reviews stay when a plan ends. New businesses may get a free trial; the first charge happens when it ends.
Reviews must be honest and about a real visit. Businesses may reply to reviews and report them, but can’t delete them. Someone who claims a business must really represent it; a claim is confirmed by a code sent to an email on the business’s own website.
Automatic rules
To keep PawBao safe, these rules apply to every account automatically: no links (other than pawbao.app), email addresses, phone numbers, social media accounts or outside payment apps in profiles, pet care pages, kennels, listings, products, comments or LIVE titles. Messages may share a phone number or email, but never links, gift cards, wire transfers or crypto.
Anything reported by 3 different people (a listing, video or comment) is hidden right away until PawBao looks at it. An account reported by 5 different people within 30 days has its pet care page and listings hidden. A suspended account loses everything public at once.
Daily limits stop spam: up to 15 new listings, 20 new products, 200 comments, 20 new conversations and 30 reports a day. Puppies and kittens can be listed as available only from 8 weeks old, or with a ready date at 8 weeks or later.
Adoption
Shelters, rescues and owners may list a pet for adoption, and other users may ask to adopt it. PawBao only connects people: it is not a shelter, does not check homes or animals, and is not a party to any adoption. The lister decides who adopts and is responsible for following local laws, including any fees, contracts, vaccinations and microchips.
Pets are listed by a private owner, a shelter or rescue, someone who found a pet, or a breeder. You must choose honestly. Found pets: try to find the owner first (a vet or shelter can scan for a microchip) and follow local stray-animal rules.
Breeders list pets only in Find a Pet, from a breeder profile. Listings go live right away; PawBao does not check each listing in advance, and its automatic rules and people’s reports can hide any listing. Breeders reach families only through PawBao messages: no phone numbers, emails, websites or social links in listings or kennel pages. Breeders must follow all federal, state and local laws on breeding and selling animals (including licenses, health certificates, minimum ages and transport rules), give true information about each animal and its parents, and upload only real documents. PawBao may refuse or remove any listing or kennel. No other sales of animals are allowed; a reasonable adoption fee from a shelter or rescue is fine.
PawBao does not take payment for pets and is not a party to any sale or adoption. A “Verified” document means PawBao looked at the uploaded file; it does not guarantee the animal’s health, pedigree or the document’s authenticity. The Verified Breeder badge is given only after PawBao’s check and cannot be bought; listing and messaging are free (up to 20 active listings), and PawBao takes no commission on any sale. Breeder plans (Breeder Plus $29/year, up to 50 listings; Breeder Pro $49/year, up to 150 listings) renew yearly until cancelled and can be cancelled any time, effective at the end of the paid period. Prices may change for new periods with notice. The first 50 kennels (Founding Breeders) get Breeder Pro free for their first year; after it, the kennel moves to Free unless the breeder chooses a paid plan. Breeders may go LIVE and pin their listings; gifts and coins sent during a LIVE support the host and are never a deposit, payment or reservation for an animal. Always meet in person, in a safe place, see the animal and its documents before paying anything.
Pet insurance
PawBao does not sell insurance and is not an insurance agent. If you ask for pet insurance quotes, we pass your request to an insurance partner once we have one, so they can contact you with quotes. Any policy is between you and the insurer, under its own terms.
Advertising and sponsored content
Businesses may pay to promote their profile or videos. Paid placements are always labeled “Sponsored” and never affect ratings or reviews.
Creators who are paid or gifted by a brand must disclose it clearly in the video, as the FTC Endorsement Guides require.
Brand Collaborations
Brands can create campaigns that pay pet creators for a video (“Paid Collaboration”) or send them a free product for an honest review (“Free Product Review”). The brand pays for the whole campaign when it publishes it: for paid campaigns, the payment per creator; for free product reviews, a PawBao fee of $5 per creator. PawBao holds the payment.
When the brand approves a creator’s video, the creator receives 80% of the payment through Stripe Connect and PawBao keeps 20% (rates may change for new campaigns). If the brand doesn’t answer within 7 days of a submitted video, the creator may collect the payment. When a brand ends a campaign, the spots no creator took are refunded; a collaboration cancelled after the campaign ended is refunded too. Payments already sent to creators are not refundable through PawBao.
Brands may say what the video should show but may not require a positive opinion; a free product never obliges a positive review. PawBao labels every collaboration video “Paid partnership with …” or “Gifted by …”, and creators must also disclose the relationship clearly, as the FTC Endorsement Guides require. Brands ship free products themselves and must sell only safe, legal products. Only the brand a creator applies to sees their shipping address.
A brand may reuse a creator’s video in its own ads only if the campaign said so before the creator applied. PawBao may hide any campaign or block any brand, and handles disputes at support@pawbao.app.
Founding Creators and rewards
The Founding Creator program is limited to the first 50 creators selected by PawBao. Perks are described in the app and may change during the pilot.
Copyright complaints
If you believe a video infringes your copyright, email support@pawbao.app with the video link, the work you own, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized. We will remove infringing content and may close repeat infringers’ accounts.
Disclaimers
PawBao is provided “as is”. Pet care tips in videos come from other users and are not veterinary advice. Ask your vet.
To the extent the law allows, Omni Transformation Systems LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability is limited to $100.
